Wildlife

If you have encountered injured wildlife or wildlife in danger please do not hesitate to get in touch with us - we will do everything in our power to help. Sometimes all that is needed is a bit of advice (especially in the spring and summer or for precocial species).

We believe that all wildlife deserves respect no matter their species, size or protection status - they ALL deserve a second chance, especially if injury was obtained due to unintentional human actions.

Unfortunately no matter how hard we try, not every story will have a positive outcome.

We would ask you to stay respectful and understanding at all times as we will ALWAYS base our decision on the best interests of the animal. Please trust our experienced veterinary surgeon on this decision.

Due to the nature of the mobile practice, will have limited capacity for recuperating wildlife. We welcome responsible volunteers to help us with recuperation and release (where applicable) of the wildlife locally to where they have been found.

If you think you can offer a bit of your time and garden/shed space please don't hesitate to get in touch with us by email.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide physical assistance with large wildlife such as deer – please contact farm vets or mixed veterinary practices as they store the right drugs for the species.

Due to the nature of our business, we won't always be available in your area. Occasionally we might ask you to bring injured wildlife to us and we will look after it from there. We will always endeavour to keep you updated.

We look forward to sharing some positive wildlife recovery stories with you soon!
